Lightning Basketball (Glowing Ball) Size 7 A special basketball that lights up just by bouncing it. I bought this last month at a basketball goods store in the US. While typical so-called glowing balls only have reflective material attached to the outside and aren't very bright, this one has built-in LED lights, so it's clearly visible even when it's dark on the street. It's the top-of-the-line model made of synthetic leather, not rubber. The LEDs and batteries inside are securely fitted to the ball and are very durable. I think it's a testament to technology. The market price is shown in image 8 (rubber version of a similar product, sold in Japan) at just over 10,000 yen. However, this item is synthetic leather, so it was more expensive, costing about $110 when purchased. It's so much fun to be able to enjoy basketball anywhere, even at night. Balls that light up themselves are expensive, but I'm selling this one at a super bargain price because I've used it a few times. Used twice on a street court. I will ship it deflated.
