This is oil soot ink made by Kobaien, an established ink maker in Nara. It comes with a wooden box and wrapping paper, and the ink itself is inscribed with the gold characters "妙" (Miao). Due to long-term storage, the wrapping paper shows signs of aging, such as stains and deterioration. The ink itself has no noticeable cracks, and the condition can be confirmed in the photos. Since it is unknown whether it has been used or not, it is being sold as is.
