This long haori, made of genuine silk total shibori (tie-dye), is a luxurious kimono with a beautiful pattern created by hand-dyeing each individual tie. A Japanese tailor has taken an unused, standard-length total shibori haori, removed the gussets, and added lining to create this long haori.

The shibori is well-defined.
The lining on the lower part is synthetic fiber.
There is some yellowing on the shoulder lines when the right and left sleeves are extended, and yellowing on the lines where the length was extended, about 10 cm from the hem.
Because it is a valuable white-based total shibori haori, there is some yellowing from the length and sleeve extension, but it is not very noticeable.
A light-colored total shibori haori is rare in itself, and extending the length and sleeve length is technically difficult, often refused or very expensive.
This is a custom-made item, made by accommodating a request to extend the length even without the gussets, making it a unique item due to its pattern.
