Hichiriki Reed I have been involved with gagaku and the hichiriki for about 40 years, and I have performed in various places. I have been making reeds for a while, but I started selling them on Mercari, hoping to be of some help to those who find reed making difficult or are not good at it. I am making them at an affordable price. My family (listed under the name Yominawako) is selling them on my behalf. I use the highest quality reed from Udono, dried for 10 years, and cut to about 6 cm. I adjust them so that they produce sound, but I think some fine-tuning may be necessary.
