French antique, a photo frame made of alloy, circa 1900, with a relief of angels and garlands. The delicate and beautiful motif of two angels gathering flowers together is lovely♪ It has a gold plating that was probably much more sparkling at the time, but now it has a subdued gold color due to aging. There are several sizes of frames with this design, and this is the largest or second largest size. These frames used to be seen occasionally, but recently they have become increasingly rare. There was no glass originally, and it has a thin plastic-like cover. It contains a chromo of a girl.
