This is a 2019AW Martinique dress. The color is navy. (The photo is of a different color, beige) The color is a dark navy, like a cross between 7.8 and 9. It's made of a wool jersey material, like compressed wool, which is stretchy, warm, and easy to wear. It comes with a matching belt. There are pockets on both sides of the chest. There are also pockets on the sides of the waist. No lining. (Since there's no lining, an anti-static spray makes it easier to put on and take off) The upper back has lining as shown in the photo (it's nice that it's not the compressed wool fabric, as it's the part that shows from the inner layer). * Initially, the buttonholes were loose, but when I took it to the store, there were several other similar opinions, so Melrose re-sewed the buttonholes, and the looseness was resolved. You can open the front buttons and use it as an outerwear, or close them and wear it as a dress. It's incredibly versatile and I wore it every season. There is no distortion or damage to the shape. The design is really easy to wear. It's easy to move in, and it's clean-looking, so it's perfect for a casual outing. It's thick enough to wear under a coat or down jacket, and it can be worn from late autumn to mid-winter.
