This is an industrial-style arm light. It's the type that you attach by screwing the hardware in place, so it can be mounted on a wall or ceiling (screws are not included). There's one issue: the switch has poor contact, and it turns off unless you secure it with tape or something similar after turning it on. Replacing the switch with DIY should solve the problem.
