The lining is a gradient. The base pattern is waves. Gold paint-like material is applied in places on the design. It has a decent size for its age. There is discoloration on the collar. There is color transfer and streak stains. There are several areas of light discoloration on the lining. Since there were discolorations when it arrived, I didn't have to worry about stains and wore it casually to events. It's at a level that someone accustomed to antiques could wear.
