Synopsis The film is set in 1923, during the Irish Civil War, on the island of Inisherin. On this peaceful, small island where everyone knows each other, Pádraic, a kind man, is suddenly cut off by his friend Colm, with whom he had been friends for many years. Pádraic is unable to hide his shock at the sudden turn of events, but he doesn't know why. With the help of his sensible sister Siobhán and the eccentric neighbor Dominic, he tries to turn the situation around, but Colm finally makes a terrifying declaration: "If you bother me any more, I'll cut off one of my own fingers." A "banshee," said to herald death, descends upon this tranquil island surrounded by the beautiful sea and sky. An unexpected and shocking ending awaits...
