I believe the battery is for testing purposes, but the one I'm using has been running for about four months. When the battery runs out, please have it replaced at a watch shop. There is no warranty, but a simple instruction manual is included. This is an inexpensive item, so we cannot accept returns for initial defects with the buyer paying for return shipping.
