This is a vase (single-flower vase) by Sanshin Otani (also written as Shinsan Otani) of Kurashiki Glass. It was stored at my grandmother's house for a long time, but I am selling some of it to organize because I have more than I can use. I think the charm of Mr. Sanshin Otani's work is that you can feel the strength within the gentle roundness. Because it is a handmade folk craft, each one is a different size, and the air bubbles and carbon inclusions that occur during the manufacturing process are also attractive.
