(I carried it in front of me when taking it out during travel, etc.) There is some fading on the upper part of the waist belt, but it doesn't affect use. The back is designed to float, so it's comfortable even in summer. I've washed it twice, once in the past and once for this listing. I used a neutral detergent according to the official website's instructions. This is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
