Removing these ties will cause the slider covers to detach and internal parts to fall out. The slider function itself (length adjustment) works. Black masking tape is applied over the zip ties. This is just for aesthetics; photos 9 and 10 show the condition without the tape. The headband and ear pads show signs of wear. The ear pads have been replaced once with genuine parts. There are no problems with the functionality. I don't think the battery drains quickly, so I've used it this long. This is for people who want to experience the noise canceling of high-end headphones, those who need batteries or internal parts, or those who want to disassemble it.
