These are Kiyomizu-yaki (Kyoto-style) sake cups, featuring grape and violet patterns. Both have a diameter of approximately 6cm and a height of approximately 5.5cm. The glaze on both cups is applied in a way that creates a hexagonal shape in the center of the interior. The base of the cups also appears hexagonal. The patterns, the areas around them, and the colors have a slightly glossy finish, rather than a matte one. As the cups were not covered in cloth, they were likely used before, but appear to have been stored for many years in their original boxes. Only the grape-patterned cup has a descriptive paper inside the box, confirming it is Kiyomizu-yaki. Comes with original boxes.
