This is a Selmer B♭ clarinet, a Présence model. It has the characteristic dark Selmer tone, the excellent key balance of the Présence, and is a very stable instrument in terms of intonation, producing a beautiful sound. My daughter purchased it new in January 2018 for use in her junior high school club. She was taking private lessons at the time. The instrument was selected for her by her lesson teacher and purchased from a musical instrument store in Aichi Prefecture. It was used for approximately two years. A crack was found and repaired in one place after playing (the part in photo 19; it may not be visible in the photo). After that, she became busy with high school entrance exams and the opportunity to use it decreased, but she wanted to play again, so it was stored with attention to temperature and humidity. Recently, she has become busy with other hobbies, and we have decided to sell it. It still plays very well. The upper and lower joints have the same serial number, and the other parts are original from when it was purchased. The case is in good condition as shown in the photos, but there is a crack on the bottom (photo 20).
