Various spin-offs exist, but I think you won't understand the characters unless you read "Fist of the North Star" first. So, I recommend reading Fist of the North Star and then enjoying your favorite parts, such as the Raoh arc. "Fist of the Blue Sky" came out after Fist of the North Star, but the timeline of Fist of the Blue Sky is actually before Fist of the North Star.
