This is a brand new Shino mizusashi (water jar). The brown markings are a result of changes that occurred in the kiln. I believe it has a very appealing appearance, with a beautiful "scenery." The kiln where it was made has apparently closed down, so it's no longer possible to have new ones made. Size: Diameter 13.7 cm x Height 14.5 cm. Made by Yamakatsu-en in Seto.
