This is a Yamasanka Raicho tenugui (Japanese hand towel). Size: 90 x 35 cm I used it while frequently trimming the initial fraying of the tenugui. As they say tenugui are meant to be "raised" or "grown," the edges have developed into a fringed, flavorful piece. I am selling it as I am organizing my mountaineering gear. Its uses are varied, not just for mountaineering and hiking. I think it would also be good for everyday use or as a companion for hot springs after a mountain trip.
