This is Italian ryegrass, sun-dried from leaf to stem. It is pesticide-free, grown with natural compost, no chemical fertilizers, and no herbicides. ※The last image shows the Italian ryegrass grown on my farm. At this time of year (from winter to spring), the stems become thicker. This is because they sense changes in day length and temperature and begin preparing for heading (stem elongation for flowering and fruiting). The stem tissues develop and become thicker and harder to support the head. Image ① shows 200g of Italian ryegrass immediately after being put into a bag. Image ② shows it in a compressed state. It is quite compressed, so it may be difficult to remove. Once, take everything out of the bag and lightly loosen it, then portion out what you will use into a zip-lock bag, which will make it easier to use. Since the natural leaves are dried, there may be small leaf fragments (spills) accumulated in the bag. Please be careful not to spill when opening the bag by spreading out newspaper or a plastic bag. It will be packed in a 30cm x 25cm bag and shipped via Yu-Packet Post. We will compress it as much as possible to fill the bag and pack it to the limit that can be posted in a mailbox. We visually inspect the product before packing, but please note that natural wild plants, dead grass, and very rarely, very small insects may be mixed in. Please consider purchasing only if you understand this. We do not use any preservatives or desiccants, so please use the product as soon as possible after it arrives. The degree of dryness in the images is only a guide. The degree of dryness may be slower (darker color) or faster (lighter color) than in the images. We use perforated bags to maintain freshness, but if it takes a long time to consume everything, you can take everything out of the bag and spread it out on newspaper in a well-ventilated place to maintain freshness and prevent the growth of mold. Also, some pets may prefer it to be a little drier.
