Offering an antique obi from my collection. This is an auspicious maru obi with a woven pattern of pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms on a deep purple background. There is some wear (see the last image) about 64 cm from the te-saki (end of the obi), but it's not very noticeable due to the pattern. The black satin lining is damaged, and the whole obi is weakened. The sewing threads are also weakening, and there are some areas where the seams have come undone. The core is made of cotton, so it has a slightly fluffy feel. I have worn this obi several times with antique kimonos. It's an easy-to-match obi, but I think it's about time for it to be cared for before wearing. I think it would be best to consider it as fabric. ●Size Width: 31cm Length: 390cm It is old.
