This brooch is based on H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos story "The Colour Out of Space." "The Colour Out of Space" is a short story depicting a bizarre incident that begins with a strange meteorite from space. The story revolves around a non-terrestrial, bizarre "colour" that sucks the life out of everything around it. This brooch expresses that concept using resin and metal gear parts as a base, combined with tentacles and a thermochromic glass cabochon that changes colour depending on temperature and angle. The central thermochromic glass cabochon changes to various colours depending on the temperature and viewing angle, so you won't get bored with the same design. Also, by using a variety of gears with different materials, colours, and sizes, I've aimed for a steampunk atmosphere. The size is approximately 3.5cm wide x 5cm long x 1.5cm thick. Notes on purchase: ・The main materials of this work are alloy, glass, epoxy putty, and resin.
