It works fine with an external display, but the iMac's display has the issue shown in the photos, resulting in a liquid crystal defect. I was using it with an external display as shown in the photos. Also, this is only for the main unit. Accessories such as cables are not included. This is a junk item. Since this is a visual inspection by an amateur, other defects are unknown. !!
