Vintage, made in the Valencia factory with the 555 stamp, March 1987. This is a transitional piece with a mix of early and late 80s details. The absence of the "CARE～" on the paper patch and only the thin-font "501" stamp is rare. The single-stitch inseam is a detail found on XX, Big E, early 66/late 66/red-ear models, giving it an old-school feel. In my opinion, it's about 80% dark indigo, so there's still enjoyment to be had in breaking it in.
