Vintage shop coat from DETROIT OVERALL MFG. CO. This is a vintage used clothing item, likely from the 1940s to 1950s. (Please refer to the images for confirmation if you are knowledgeable about these items.) The size is marked as 40, which should be about a Japanese size L. It features laurel leaf buttons, a herringbone fabric, and a navy and white two-tone design. Perhaps it wasn't worn much back then... There are no noticeable stains, small holes, or significant damage, and the cuffs and hem are clean without fraying or wear (images 8 and 9). The fabric also has a firm texture. The condition was good, but I washed it once because I intended to wear it. However, I only tried it on once indoors at home and never actually wore it outside. The only concerning point I personally noticed regarding the condition is: ・There is a single scratch-like area on the back (image 7).
