They differ in details and materials from the government-issued items, and because of their scarcity, they are considered highly valuable. The B-15 from COLVINEX, which is being reproduced this time, was also produced as one of the commercial versions at the time. COLVINEX manufactured flight suits with heating wires before and after the war, and it is very interesting that they produced the B-15 for the civilian market. The government-issued B-15 had a cotton twill outer shell, but this model uses cotton grosgrain, which is seen on Navy deck jackets, and the front zipper, which should be offset, has been moved to the center. Furthermore, the chin strap on the back of the collar is made of leather, and a loop for a whistle, which the wearer is thought to have added at the time, is provided on the chest.
