The weaving density of rugs is considered very fine from around 1 million knots, but this one has an even finer weave, with approximately 2.25 million knots/㎡, more than 2.2 times finer. (The weaving density of commonly available rugs is from 90,000 knots to about 750,000 knots.) It has the authentic design of a hand-woven Persian rug, the fineness of a hand-woven rug, and the durability unique to machine weaving. It is a Wilton weave with a durable and sturdy finish. High-quality acrylic fibers are heat-set processed, giving it a texture and feel similar to cork wool. It also has high moisture retention, similar to wool.
