The StarSense Explorer series' biggest feature is the ability to find your target celestial object while looking at your smartphone screen by attaching a smartphone with the dedicated "StarSense Explorer" app downloaded to the telescope. By aligning the smartphone's camera lens with the mirror on the mounting part, the app automatically calculates the position information from the images of the stars taken by the camera. Then, just select the celestial object you want to see, and an arrow will appear on the smartphone screen to guide you to the target celestial object. Follow the direction of the arrow and manually move the tube, and when the reticle changes from red to green, the introduction is complete.
