Purchased in September 2025. Used at night until the baby was about 1 month old. The original batteries still seem to have some charge, so you can use it right away. I have confirmed that the alarm function works before listing. There are no noticeable scratches or stains on the main unit, but please note that there is some damage to the outer box. Also, please be aware that this item was used in contact with a baby's skin.
