The cardboard box has considerable damage. Originally manufactured and sold as an escape ladder, it is made of wood but is sturdy and fire-resistant. A ladder of this length with such a sturdy construction would be very expensive new, but as it is used, it is offered at a great price. The uses are various! What you use it for is up to the buyer!!
