Condition: This item was found during a cleanup of my parents' house. It is a tea ceremony bowl (matcha bowl) by Kozo Furuze of Akahadayama Motogama kiln. It is unused and has been stored in its wooden box. Please check the condition in the photos. Its characteristic feature is the fine white clay body with a reddish glaze. The paintings often feature simple and cute designs called Nara-e (Nara pictures), with deer, horses, and people as common motifs. The design on this tea bowl is a Nara-e horse.
