This is an old Imari soba choko (noodle cup) from Arita, made during the Edo period. Irises are painted in sometsuke (blue and white) around the cup. The foot is a flat base, which indicates it's a mid-period type of soba choko. There are no scratches, and the condition is good. Size: Approximately 7.3-7.8 cm in diameter, approximately 6 cm in height.
