This is from a collection I purchased 30 years ago from a pottery in Gifu. I bought them with some imperfections due to variations in the glaze color, depth, underglaze, and overglaze density. I've used about 10 of them myself, and because the clay is hard, they haven't broken. They're useful everyday plates for sweets, serving, and pickles.
