Purchased at a shop run by an Afghan person in Tokyo. This is a hand-woven wool carpet, and I believe it's quite old. While my memory isn't perfect, I think it's from Afghanistan. The main colors are a very subdued burgundy and black. I bought it because the pattern and colors are very well-balanced, giving it a cool and sophisticated impression. It's the perfect size for an entryway. I love it, but it no longer suits my current home, so I hope someone else can make good use of it. ◉ I love rugs and collect various types of floor coverings.
