It conveys the feelings of immigrants who lived in Hawaii while thinking of their homeland, Japan. The design, printing, and shirt details indicate that it was made in the early days. The design ideas and details were assembled in Hawaii, and the final sketches, pattern creation, and printing were entrusted to Japanese craftsmen.
