This jacket reproduces a vintage piece from the early 1950s, characterized by minimal plain areas and a luxurious specification where the entire back is covered in embroidery. The white-based Japanese map and motifs stand out against the black body, with colorful threads, and the green ribbing and red and white rope piping add a nice accent. The reversible side features a grand design of a golden dragon dancing on a blue body reminiscent of a clear sky. In contrast to the front, the embroidery has an exquisite balance, skillfully using negative space. The dragon and tiger on the chest have the same design as the front, but upon closer inspection, the color threads used are different. This is because the vintage pieces were made using the same "embroidery pattern" on both sides, and it reflects the attention to detail of the embroidery artisans at the time, who changed the colors to match the fabric.
