This is likely an old Kyoto-style lacquerware bowl. It features a deep, aged red-lacquer exterior and a graceful interior design of red and white plum blossoms and a Japanese bush warbler in maki-e (sprinkled picture). The meticulously painted red and white plum blossoms, the adorable warbler, the textured branches created with sabi-nuri (rust lacquer), and the subdued silver maki-e flowing water pattern on the inside all showcase the exquisite craftsmanship. There are signs of age, such as slight discoloration and scratches, as well as edge damage and hairline cracks on the lid (as shown in images 6, 10, and 11; images 10 and 11 show the same area).
