This is a Nagoya obi woven in Nishijin, Kyoto, by a weaving workshop. The workshop itself has closed down, so I believe this particular obi is no longer available. It is a new, unused item in beautiful condition, with the basting threads still attached (see photos 4-7). The color is vermilion with a white and light green checkered pattern, making it easy to coordinate with kimono. Although it is a new, unused item, it has been stored at home, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
