This is a Macintosh Downfield coat. Made in England with a brown tag. It's a very high-quality coat made of cotton fabric, with special buttons, etc. It also comes with a liner and belt. Macintosh coats from this era have a beautiful A-line silhouette and are of good quality, and are no longer available. I loved it, but I'm selling it because it no longer fits. It has a worn feel, but there are no major stains or scratches that would hinder wear. However, there are small stains on the shoulders and sleeves (see photos.
