Omeshi is a pre-dyed woven fabric made by refining raw silk, dyeing the yarn first, then tightly twisting it to create a strong-twist yarn, which is used as the weft. It has a crisp texture, is wrinkle-resistant, and feels great against the skin, making it very comfortable to wear. The elegant design and color allow for enjoyable coordination with obi and accessories. In recent years, the production of Omeshi has drastically decreased, making it a rather valuable item.
