I believe upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 would extend support to 2029. A temporary user is registered, and I will provide the user ID and password after purchase. You can watch videos on YouTube and use free office software like LibreOffice, so it's suitable as a sub-machine for research or video viewing. However, the battery has deteriorated significantly due to its age, and it may last only an hour even in power-saving mode. It's recommended to use it with the AC adapter constantly connected. Alternatively, it could be used as a parts donor. An AC adapter is included. There is considerable wear and tear overall, and although I've cleaned it with an air duster and alcohol, dirt is noticeable in the keyboard gaps. It can be used as is, but if you are concerned, I recommend disassembling and cleaning the keys.
