The Leica Standard is a Barnack Leica with a fastest shutter speed of 1/500. The sheet metal Leica is more portable than the die-cast model, making it a camera for active shooting. Also, it does not have a rangefinder, so you will need to estimate the distance or use a separate rangefinder, which is surprisingly fun.
