Yakusugi, whose new felling is prohibited, is also called the "tree where gods reside," and refers to trees over a thousand years old. This is a very rare work, in which a "Kannon Bodhisattva statue" was created from this rare sacred Yakusugi. Shō Kannon (Holy Kannon) has a crown with a Buddha image of Amida Nyorai, a rosary in her right hand to liberate from earthly desires, and a water bottle in her left hand to pour infinite merit, a traditional design of Shō Kannon.
