A set of two ceramic bowls with a beautiful fruit basket design, made in Germany. They are the perfect size for salads or soup. This "Basket" series from the 1970s became famous in Japan as it was chosen as part of Princess Masako's dowry when she married the Crown Prince. I purchased these from the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Osaka and have used them 2-3 times. There are no noticeable scratches, scuffs, or stains to the untrained eye, but there may be some minor, inconspicuous scratches. Please understand that these are used items before purchasing.
