Thank you for viewing. This plate was purchased at an antique market. The gold paint is dazzling and luxurious. The center features underglaze blue pine, bamboo, and plum with gold line drawings. The surrounding design depicts plum trees and decorative windows. The rim pattern appears to be a combination of shihou-tasuki (four-direction crossed bands) and red-painted floral arabesques. It gives a luxurious impression. The body features underglaze blue floral arabesques. There is no maker's mark. There are few scratches. There is a slightly larger chip on the rim. It's clam-shaped, so it seems usable as is. Even if repaired with kintsugi (gold joinery), it wouldn't be very noticeable because the plate is so dazzling.
