I purchased this about 15 years ago and have stored it in a dark place. Of the seven single DVD volumes, only volume 3 has been opened, but there are no noticeable scratches or stains. The remaining six discs are unopened. There are no noticeable scratches or stains on the outer packaging, but I have not checked the operation or playback as they are unopened. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned, as this is a long-term storage item. Thank you for looking.
