This is a coin case made entirely by hand using Italian leather. The leather used is horse butt from MARYAM. (Uses the cordovan layer) This leather is a tea-core leather made by vegetable tanning the high-fiber density from the horse's butt and applying pigment. The texture is supple, characteristic of horsehide, and the oil from the vachetta process is effective, so it is not very stiff. As you use it, the pigment will peel off, and you can enjoy the aging process as the leather changes over time.
