It's a wireless type that can be used by plugging it into a USB port. I do not own a Wii U console, but I have confirmed that it works when connected to a computer. As you can see in the usage images, it is recognized as "Microphone (WUP-019-0)" on the computer and can be used normally. I was also able to record and play back properly using the audio editing software "Audacity" on the computer. I cannot convey the audio through images, but I believe you can confirm that it is recording correctly through the waveform. For those who are looking for this, or for those who want to get a wireless microphone at a low price, please consider it. Notes The outer box has some minor scratches and discoloration (see images). The microphone body and receiver are in the box. Although the microphone's operation has not been confirmed on a Wii U, I have confirmed that it works and can record and play back properly on a computer. The silver part of the receiver has some dullness.
