[7] Condition: Beautiful, unused, new item [8] Shape: Family Crest Inkstone ⭕️ This is a work of the family crest inkstone by Toshio Hieda, the third-generation Gyokuhō, a master craftsman of Akama inkstones. The Akama inkstone, with its unique reddish hue, is said to be the only one of its kind in Japan. It is characterized by its fine, hard, and dense stone quality, as well as its beautiful stone surface. This work features the characteristic adzuki bean color of Akama stone, with a scattering of pale green stone patterns across the entire inkstone. It is a large rectangular inkstone with the lower sides slanted, creating a sharp and well-balanced design. It is a special inkstone with a family crest carved on the edge. The inkstone's underside has been carefully hollowed out, leaving 20mm on each side to shape it. When you run your fingertip along the inner edge, you can feel a sharp, precise, and comfortable sensation as you go around. This is a masterpiece that clearly demonstrates the skill of the craftsman and is very labor-intensive. The work was specially made as a gift for a celebration. The distinguished family name of two characters is engraved under the celebration inscription.
