This is a framed plate made by the 14th Sakaida Kakiemon, a Living National Treasure, who carries on the tradition of Akae (red-enameled) porcelain. The red-enameled designs are all hand-painted. Diameter: 18cm, Height: 3.3cm It comes with a paulownia wood box and a plate stand, but the metal part of the plate stand has some rust from storage. I never displayed it after purchasing it.
