This is a 14x6 inch snare drum (actual size, so please allow for some margin of error). The free-floating stand, etc., is made by Pearl, and the shell is made by Kitano. As you'd expect from Kitano, it resonates well. It has a powerful feel, and I think it's a very good snare drum with the lightness and bright overtones unique to aluminum. It's easy to control the overtones, and for me, it was a very easy snare drum to tune.
